New blog in town
Once again I have been inspired by a friend who has fired up the ole blog machine recently. Check out VogelCam for recent hijynx and hilarity.
Let's see . . . what else. I caught a few minutes of the new Adam Corolla show on comedy central last night. It was terrible - as in, not funny at all. The theme of the show was "things that make Adam mad." Basically he started ranting on all kinds of cliches in a Seinfeld way, only not nearly as good as Seinfeld. "You ever notice how [insert your favorite objects] are really [insert your favorite adjective]. That really ticks me off [insert forced, canned laughter]." I give it about 2 months, tops.
Also caught the first episode of Weeds on Showtime. Pretty funny. It was good enough to make me want to see more. Just the depiction of SoCal suburbia is pretty funny. They've got the stereotypes down pretty well. Not sure yet about the whole drug thing yet though. Did they have to have black people in the hood be the suppliers? I'm sure black americans aren't going to like that very much. Okay it is different from the usual latin american stereotype, but at least that one is probably closer to reality here in SoCal.
